Bird's Eye View

I may have mentioned in the past that I live only a few miles from Rehoboth Beach.
If my life gets too hectic, I need to feel like I've escaped from the world or if I just want to hide for few hours - I usually go to the beach to try to calm down.
Lately, I've avoided the crowds. Stayed to myself. Hung around the house.

Today, I'm feeling less like this guy...standing alone on the rock. I don't feel the need to isolate myself anymore, dwell on my issues or obsess over what should have been or could have been.

I'm ready to join the world again....I'm done wallowing now. (as my mother would say) Time to put on my big girl panties and move on. Half of the battle is done.
Thanks for the positive thoughts sent my way!!
Have a great weekend,
Karen

So glad you are feeling better. Sometimes just being in nature helps us to put things where they need to be so that we can give ourselves a break and deal with when we are stronger. Hugs :)

I hope the time you took "feeling" stuff did you good, and that it helps you appreciate the good things and folks around you even more as you rejoin them.
Good luck with the resurfacing !;)
