Party Time!

Image representing Etsy as depicted in CrunchBaseImage via CrunchBase

The Etsy Cottage Style Team is having a blog party.

Thanks for stopping by!

How have I been spending my time lately?

Painting angels...lots of them!

and using crackle paint.

I love it.

I love the textural interest that the crackle paint adds to the painting...

I love the deep lines of color I can add once the crackle paint has been added

to the halo and wings....

I'm also loving Walnut Ink Stain....

Love the aged appearance it adds to the paintings.

Oh, and I forgot the gold leaf I'm adding to my paintings!

I'm loving that too.

Did I mention the beeswax?

I love the shine and texture it adds to the artwork.

And the scent....wow...it is so yummy!

So that's what I've been playing around with

and all my favorites.

Stop by the Cottage Style Blog and

check out the rest of the blogs

It's a blog party....Have fun!

Have a great day,

Karen

Amazing buttons found in a big box of buttons!

Art created from vintage finds

A beautiful vintage bridal veil....

We stood outside in the freezing cold at an auction a week after my shoulder surgery

waiting for this fan ! It's my favorite $5.00 auction purchase!!

Love these vintage curtains. Wasn't sure what to do with the fabric?

For now....using them as.....CURTAINS!!

Vintage ribbon...loads of it. Using it in my art projects.

Amazing how many ways you can use that soft green!
